The Robin is a twin boom, elliptical wing UAV or platform designed for efficiency, stability and slow cruise performance. The Robin has fantastic slow speed performance with a stall of 25-30 km/h (depending on AUW). The Robin is also incredibly stable, thanks to its wing planform and counter-rotating propellers. The elliptical wing planform also gives the Robin a large amount of lift for the lowest induced drag possible.
The Sparrow is a flying-wing style aircraft with a wingspan of 1.35 m. The “pure form” design, characterized by a reduction in drag producing structures, is inspired by German engineering based off of the lowest theoretical drag design configuration for a fixed wing aircraft. The WingWorx Sparrow is designed to be flown using standard RC electronics as well as those suited for UAVs.
This aircraft is powered by a single motor running on 4s (15v), and controlled via two elevons. Our design utilizes Polymaker’s Prefoamed LW PLA to achieve the lightest airframe possible. Our fully-3D-printed wing lock technology allows for easy removal of wings which makes for easy repair, transportation, and upgradability. There is plenty of internal volume to accommodate UAV specific electronics, including designated wing bays for storing equipment like video transmitters or receivers.
The Gryphon is a RC delta wing aircraft, with a wingspan of 0.68m. Accomplished through a combination of design choices and construction methods, the Gryphon was made to be simple to build and easy to fly. The aircraft model utilizes “vase mode” to streamline portions of the printing process.
In the interest of making building the Gryphon more accessible, the design does not require products that are difficult to acquire, such as carbon fiber rods. The Gryphon has a large lid that grants easy access to the internal volume for supporting a variety of different electronics and equipment. The lid can be printed in two variations, for use as a First Person View (FPV) aircraft or as a Line of Sight (LOS) aircraft.
